Band

From elementary strings to high school marching bands, participation in band activities teaches students not only an appreciation for the arts, but also the discipline of daily practice, how to behave as part of a team, and how to perform and present in front of large groups of people. In support of these valuable skills, CPSF has purchased:

• instruments for music classrooms in every elementary school in the district,
• equipment for a high quality Digital Music Labratory at Corvallis High School,
• African Drums and other instruments at Crescent Valley High School,
• supplies for instrument maintenance at Linus Pauling Middle School,
• instruments at Cheldelin Middle School.
