Mini-Grants for Educational Excellence

Twice each year, Corvallis Public Schools Foundation awards grants of up to $1,000 to educators for program costs, equipment, or supplies. Through the grant process, applicants are asked to demonstrate the importance of the project and how the requested funding will have a positive impact on student learning. Since 1997, Corvallis Public Schools Foundation has awarded more than $240,000 through this program.

Mini-Grants for Educational Excellence are funded through:

  1. Donations made specifically to our grant program.
  2. Unrestricted donations to Corvallis Public Schools Foundation.
  3. Proceeds from our annual Woodstock's Spring for Kids Run.

In 2008-2009, CPSF awarded 64 grants totaling $33,850. Approximately 25% of those awards were made from funds earned at the Spring for Kids Run, 12% from donations made for grants, and the remainding 63% from unrestricted donations.
