Planned
Gifts
The
Foundation
is
committed
to
supporting
the
Districts
efforts
in
providing
an
exceptional
educational
experience
for all
students.
In order
for the
Foundation
to
continue
providing
funds
for
creative
the
Corvallis
Public
Schools,
your
gifts
are
needed.
The
Corvallis
Public
Schools
Foundation
is
actively
soliciting
gifts
from
individuals,
corporations,
foundations
and
other
organizations.
Gifts
can be
made
through
the
Corvallis
Public
Schools
Foundation,
which is
a
tax-exempt
IRS 501
( c )
(3)
non-profit
organization.
In most
circumstances,
donations
to the
Foundation
are tax
deductible.
Your
donation
can be
cash,
securities
(stock),
or we
can
consider
gifts of
property
or
material
possessions
such as
artwork,
cars or
boats.
The
gifts
can be
made by
check,
wire
transfer,
through
the
transfer
of stock
certificates,
or
through
the
transfer
of deeds
to
property.
Bequests
A
bequest
to the
Corvallis
Public
Schools
Foundation
can be
made
through
your
will and
can
result
in tax
savings
to your
estate.
In your
will,
you may
designate
a
specific
gift, a
percentage
of your
estate
or the
remainder
after
specific
distributions
are
made.
It is
possible,
through
your
will, to
provide
a
guaranteed
income
for a
surviving
spouse,
relative
or
friend
while
making a
donation
to the
Foundation.
By
creating
a trust
in your
will you
can pay
income
to a
survivor
for the
remainder
of
his/her
life and
then the
principle
is
delivered
to the
Foundation.
An
attorney
can
advise
you on
the many
ways to
leave
the
Foundation
a gift
while
saving
your
estate
taxes of
providing
for a
survivor
or both.
