Science

Today's students need to leave school with more and more scientific knowledge. From the scientific method to the environmental sciences to the boundaries of our universe, science classes prepare our children to solve the problems of the 21st century while also stimulating their imaginations and creativity. Donations to science programs in Corvallis public schools have purchased:

  • data collection devices and turbidity meters for use by students in advanced science classes at Corvallis High School,
  • microscopes at both Cheldelin and Linus Pauling Middle Schools and College Hill, Crescent Valley, and Corvallis High Schools,
  • equipment for Dixon Creek water studies at Hoover Elementary,
  • greenhouse supplies for the CLASS program at Linus Pauling Middle School, as well as at College Hill and Corvallis High Schools,
  • science inquiry software and additional equipment at other schools across the 509J School District.
