Planned Giving

CPSF actively helps those who would like to make a planned gift or an estate gift as an investment in the education of our children.

A bequest can be made through your will and can result in tax savings to your estate. In your will, you may designate a specific gift, a percentage of your estate or the remainder after specific distributions are made. Your attorney can advise you on the many ways to leave the Foundation a gift while saving your estate taxes of providing for a survivor or both.

We work together with planned giving experts from the Oregon Community Foundation to offer a range of Charitable Gift Annuities and Trusts to those who would like to make a gift, but continue to receive income.

If you would like to know more about making a planned or estate gift please contact Fred Kane - Executive Director at (541) 766-4856.
