Woodstock's Spring for Kids Run

Each year, Corvallis Public Schools Foundation organizes a Spring for Kids Run. This spring event begins in Avery Park and has a 5k and 2k race. Since 2004, Woodstock's Pizza has graciously sponsored the event. Last year, Strands became our first Competition Sponsor, giving a prize to at least one participating student at every school in Corvallis. The run has provided nearly $50,000 in grant funds for teachers in Corvallis since its inception.

The 2010 run will be held on Saturday, March 13th. Registration is now open (see below). See you there!

A Traveling Trophy is awarded to the Corvallis public elementary, middle, and high school with the highest percentage of their student boy registered. A trophy is also awarded to the CSD Staff Team of Four with the lowest combined running time in the 5k event.

At least one runner from each Corvallis public school will win a prize from Strands.com! The fastest boy and girl age 13 or under in the 2k event will win an opportunity to throw a first pitch at a Corvallis Knights baseball game!

Each entrant receives 1 free raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase at our office. Need not be present to win.

Adult Raffle Tickets: $1 each or 6 for $5. Grand prize is One Year's Free Chiropractic Service from Synergea Chiropractic (a $2,500 value).

Children's Raffle Tickets (12 and under): $0.50 each or 3 for $1. Grand prize is a birthday bash at The Little Gym (a $249 value).
