Our first-ever Trivia Night: Education Edition was a tremendous success, bringing together community members, local businesses, and supporters of Corvallis schools for an evening of fun, connection, and impact.
The event would not have been possible without the enthusiasm of our attendees, the dedication of our volunteers, and the generosity of the many individuals and businesses who contributed to the evening. We’re grateful to our host, Trysting Tree Golf Club, for providing such a welcoming venue, to the businesses and individuals who donated to our gift baskets and Michele Mincinski for assembling them, to our engaging emcee, Ian Hutchings, for keeping the energy high, and to our Valedictorian Sponsor, Toyota of Corvallis, for their impactful support.
The competition was lively, with 24 teams battling it out over four rounds of trivia. Congratulations to our top teams: Talk to the Hand took third place with an impressive comeback, Little Lebowski Urban Achievers secured second, and More Cowbell claimed first place. With such strong participation across the board, earning a spot in the top three was no small feat.
More than just a competition, the evening was a celebration of community and a shared commitment to funding grants through the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation for Corvallis School District educators and students. We are incredibly thankful to everyone who participated, from players to team captains who rallied their groups for the cause.
It was a memorable night we didn’t want to end, and one we’re already excited to bring back next year.
