The Corvallis Public Schools Foundation announces the appointment of Angela Hibbard as Interim Executive Director effective Sept 14th . Hibbard’s appointment follows the resignation of Executive Director, Liv Gifford, earlier this month who accepted a full-time faculty position at Linn Benton Community College.
Hibbard is a marketing and development consultant and has served as a CPSF Trustee for four years. Most recently, she was the Director of Development, Marketing and Outreach at Lumina Hospice & Palliative Care where she oversaw a significant expansion in the organization’s fundraising.
“It has been a privilege to serve as a CPSF Trustee under Liv’s tremendous leadership,” says Hibbard. “And I am honored to help guide the organization, along with our incredible Board of Trustees, during this time of transition.”
Hibbard will serve in a part-time capacity until the appointment of a full-time, permanent Executive Director.
“CPSF has experienced fantastic growth under Liv’s leadership and we are well- poised to continue that momentum, all in service to our local public schools,” says CPSF Board Chair, Becca Gose. “Given Angela’s dedication, expertise and strong relationships in the community, I cannot imagine a better person than Angela to help us during this transition and as we recruit our next leader.”
